Anthropology museum

After maxx left again this morning to his Mexican girl (didn't I say "Love sucks" already?) to hike up to the Pyramid of Tepoztlán, I went to visit the Anthropology musuem. Multiple guides already suggested it, so it cant be bad. For the way there I selected a random taxi - and had one where the driver was insane - even measured keeping the usual mexican traffic in mind. I haven't seen anyone driving that badly anymore, nearly killing a walker on his way. But it was cheap.

Still alive - museum

After i finally arrived (still alive) at the museum the first thing spotted was - another DebConf-ler. Hi Andrew. He told me that Frans, Q, Tassia and Tiago just walked in a few minutes ago, which shows again how small Mexico is. :)

Ok, so lets get in and start looking around. The inner courtyard starts with a nice water- thing, and the museum itselfs looks pretty big from there. I took a lot of pictures, but compared to what they have i only have a small percentage of the stuff. To get a picture of everything would need a week or so.

Some time later, after I met the others and saw most of the museum, we went to have some lunch in the museums own restaurant, selecting their buffet as it looked best.

I finished looking around then, and planned to go to the technical musuem, it sounded like a good thing to end the day with a day earlier in the Turibus. Unfortunately they closed that one earlier today - exactly on that day and time i want to visit it. Damn.

Oh well, so next taxi, lets get back to the Zocalo, as I know how to get back to my hotel from there. With a bit of luck i got one of those "Volkswagen Käfer"-Taxis. And as they (or at least this one) has no seat on the right frontside, I can even sit in there without problems. I dont think the taxidriver got why I wanted to take a picture of the taxi after we arrived at the Zocalo (and Im sure the other mexican people there also not), but who cares, he got enough tip to just wait...

After that I looked at the stuff thats around the Zocalo before I went back to my Hotel.

Evening, Dinner, etc

For the evening we had, again, invited Gunnar for Dinner. Maxx intended to be back in time, but well - he wasn't, so food only for Gunnar and me. Maxx got back right in time to join us going to tatos home, where asciigirl stayed. Maxx even got something to eat there, and after some time damog drove us back to our hotel.
